NEPSE Declines by 14 Points, Total Transactions Reach 8 Billion



Kathmandu – On the third day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index dropped by 14.08 points, closing at 2,715.91 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 11 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-indices of 2 sub-groups showed an increase.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 308 million, 713 thousand, and 792 rupees.

In today’s trading, Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited was the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.98 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited, Green Development Bank Limited, Sindhu Bikash Bank Limited, and Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent and 9.99 percent, respectively, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 315 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 16 million, 917 thousand, and 835 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 919 million, 697 thousand, and 775 rupees.
