NEPSE Declines by 10 Points, Total Transaction Reaches 8 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 10.54 points, closing at 2,633.39 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transaction. The sub-indices of 8 sub-groups showed a decrease, while the sub-indices of 5 sub-groups showed an increase.

As per today’s transaction, Sindhu Bikash Bank Limited led the market with a total transaction of 295 million, 956 thousand, and 378 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Nyadi Hydropower Limited and Janaki Finance Company Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent and 9.98 percent, respectively, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited was the top loser, with the company’s share price decreasing by 8.46 percent.

A total of 312 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 17 million, 189 thousand, and 251 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 862 million, 438 thousand, and 411 rupees.
