NEPSE grows with marginal points, total transaction reaches 3 Billion



Kathmandu- On the third day of the week’s transactions, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse), the Nepse index increased by 5.10 points, closing at 2,581.60 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 subgroups participated. The sub-indices of 5 subgroups decreased, while the sub-indices of 8 subgroups increased.

As per Wednesday’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction of 218 million, 217 thousand, and 349 rupees.

Trishuli Jal Vidyut Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Support Microfinance Company Limited was the top loser, with the company’s share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 305 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of shares traded was 9 million, 434 thousand, and 9 shares, with the total transaction amounting to 3 billion, 597 million, 445 thousand, and 334 rupees.
