NEPSE Declines Slightly Amid Mixed Sectoral Performance



Kathmandu – On the fourth trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a slight decline, falling by 1.94 points to close at 2,832.06 points, according to NEPSE data.

Out of the 13 sub-indices traded today, 3 sectors posted gains, 1 remained unchanged, while 9 sectors recorded losses.

Nyadi Group Power led the market in trading volume, with over Rs. 294.5 million worth of shares traded, making it the top traded stock of the day.

Investors in Win Nepal Laghubitta, Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and Trade Tower Limited emerged as the biggest gainers. The share prices of these companies surged by 10%, 9.99%, and 9.99%, respectively, hitting positive circuit limits.

On the downside, investors in Three Star Hydropower Limited suffered the most losses, as the company’s share price dropped by 3.78%, marking the steepest decline of the day.

A total of 32 million shares from 320 listed companies were traded today, with the daily turnover exceeding Rs. 7.63 billion, according to NEPSE.
