IPPAN Unveils Logo for ‘Power Summit 2025’

Kathmandu – The Independent Power Producers’ Association of Nepal (IPPAN) has officially unveiled the logo for the upcoming ‘Power Summit 2025’, scheduled to take place on October 15–16, 2025 (Ashoj 29–30) in Kathmandu.

The newly released logo reflects the overarching theme of the ninth edition of the summit:
“Mission 28,500 MW: Powering Nepal, Energizing the Region.”
It visually represents the dynamism of Nepal’s growing energy sector and its vast future potential.

At the core of the logo is a green leaf-shaped design, symbolizing sustainability. Within it are representations of Nepal’s diverse energy sources—including hydropower, solar, and wind energy—illustrating the country’s commitment to clean and renewable energy development.

A prominent hydropower project depicted in the logo highlights Nepal’s massive hydropower potential and its role as the cornerstone of clean energy generation.

Next to it, modern battery storage systems reflect the country’s transition toward improved energy security. The inclusion of solar energy elements points to the diversification within the renewable energy mix.

The transmission lines stretching across hills and mountains represent Nepal’s readiness for cross-border electricity trade, signaling the country’s ambition to export electricity to regional markets.

Other components in the logo—such as electric vehicle charging stations, industrial zones, and street lighting systems—demonstrate how generated energy is being utilized across various sectors nationwide.

Altogether, the logo encapsulates Nepal’s vision of achieving energy self-reliance while evolving as a regional energy exporter in South Asia.

The summit is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, with the Embassy of India serving as the country partner.

The event will feature 10 thematic sessions on current and emerging issues in the power sector and is expected to attract participation from over 1,000 delegates representing 30 countries.
