NEPSE Sees Marginal Growth, Total Transaction Exceeds 8 Billion



Kathmandu – On the last day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index rose by 3.14 points, closing at 2,743.74 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 4 sub-groups increasing, while the sub-indices of 9 sub-groups decreased.

As per today’s transaction, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 656 million, 607 thousand, and 856 rupees.

In today’s trading, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.99 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 8.35 percent.

A total of 309 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 15 million, 637 thousand, and 6 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 627 million, 687 thousand, and 599 rupees.
