Kathmandu – On the second day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced an increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index rose by 29.87 points, closing at 2,727.91 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 10 sub-groups increasing, while the sub-indices of 3 sub-groups decreased.
As per today’s transaction, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 326 million, 435 thousand, and 355 rupees.
In today’s trading, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Nepal, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Kutheli Bhjhari Small Hydropower Limited, Excel Development Bank Limited, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited, and Dibyashwori Hydropower Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 302 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 18 million, 81 thousand, and 168 shares, generating a total transaction value of 10 billion, 49 million, 654 thousand, and 832 rupees.
