Kathmandu– Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, emphasized that amending the Public Procurement Act is necessary.
Speaking at an interaction program organized at the CPN-UML central office in Chyasal on Friday, titled ‘IT-based Entrepreneurship: The New Way to Economic Prosperity‘, Minister Bhandari highlighted the need for changes to the Public Procurement Act.
He explained that several legal amendments had been made in relation to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies. The government has prioritized service delivery, income promotion, and technology development.
Minister Bhandari also informed that the government is committed to enhancing service delivery through technology and promoting good governance.
