PM Oli to Visit India, Following the Official Visit of Indian Energy Minister to Nepal



Kathmandu– Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit India following the official visit of Indian Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to Nepal.

Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, who recently returned from a visit to India, confirmed that Prime Minister Oli’s visit to India will take place soon. He also mentioned that after the Indian Energy Minister Khattar’s visit to Nepal, Prime Minister Oli’s visit to India will be scheduled.

During his visit to India, Minister Khadka participated in the ‘Indian Energy Week-2025’ and met with three key Indian ministers: Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, and Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. He shared that discussions about a large energy project were positive.

Khadka also confirmed that the Indian Energy Minister will soon visit Nepal, adding, “After the Indian Energy Minister’s visit, the honorable Prime Minister will visit. We are hopeful that the date for the Prime Minister’s visit will be finalized soon.”

Minister Khadka expressed his appreciation for India’s support in the energy sector.
