NEPSE Declines by 7 Points, Total Transaction Reaches 7 Billion



Kathmandu – On the final day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 7.26 points, closing at 2,678.47 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 10 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-indices of 3 sub-groups increased.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 341 million, 475 thousand, and 174 rupees.

In today’s trading, Matribhumi Lagubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Kumari Sabal Yojana, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited, and Pokhara Finance Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, 9.99 percent, and 9.98 percent, respectively, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Nyadi Hydropower Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 302 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 15 million, 875 thousand, and 152 shares, generating a total transaction value of 7 billion, 921 million, 300 thousand, and 982 rupees.
