Kathmandu – On the third day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 6.54 points, closing at 2,683.86 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 8 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-indices of 5 sub-groups increased.
As per today’s transaction, CEDB Holdings Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 368 million, 182 thousand, and 898 rupees.
In today’s trading, Sikles Hydropower Limited, Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Limited, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited, and Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent and 9.99 percent, respectively, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 299 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 13 million, 968 thousand, and 258 shares, generating a total transaction value of 7 billion, 246 million, 221 thousand, and 260 rupees.
