NEPSE Declines with Marginal Points, Total Transaction Exceeds 8 Billion



Kathmandu- On the fourth day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a marginal decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 4.45 points, closing at 2,711.45 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 5 sub-groups showing an increase, while the sub-indices of 8 sub-groups showed a decrease.

As per today’s transaction, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 337 million, 639 thousand, and 357 rupees.

In today’s trading, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Chhyangdi Hydropower Limited, and Central Finance Company Limited were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent and 9.99 percent, respectively, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Corporate Development Bank Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 309 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 19 million, 181 thousand, and 414 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 958 million, 7 thousand, and 305 rupees.
