Kathmandu – On the first day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a significant increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index rose by 69.80 points, closing at 2,727.58 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of all the sub-groups showing an increase.
As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 419 million, 702 thousand, and 52 rupees.
In today’s trading, Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited, Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with the company’s share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 330 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 24 million, 848 thousand, and 79 shares, generating a total transaction value of 12 billion, 955 million, 764 thousand, and 136 rupees.
