NEPSE Rises by 24 Points, Total Transaction Reaches 9 Billion



Kathmandu – On the third day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 24.50 points, closing at 2,657.77 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transaction. The sub-indices of all the sub-groups showed an increase.

As per today’s transaction, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited led the market with a total transaction of 382 million, 132 thousand, and 187 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Sikles Hydropower Limited, Three Star Hydropower Limited, and Janaki Finance Company Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Dolti Power Company Limited was the top loser, with the company’s share price decreasing by 8.43 percent.

A total of 325 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 19 million, 680 thousand, and 195 shares, generating a total transaction value of 9 billion, 402 million, 678 thousand, and 33 rupees.
