Kathmandu – On the first day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 10.41 points, closing at 2,643.93 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transaction. The sub-indices of 8 sub-groups showed a decrease, while the sub-indices of 5 sub-groups showed an increase.
As per today’s transaction, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited led the market with a total transaction of 395 million, 373 thousand, and 212 rupees.
In today’s transaction, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Mathilo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited, 11% NIC Asia Debenture 082/83, Dolti Power Company Limited, and Janaki Finance Company Limited were the top losers, with the companies’ share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 318 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 15 million, 720 thousand, and 367 shares, generating a total transaction value of 9 billion, 128 million, 673 thousand, and 514 rupees.
