NEPSE Increases Marginally, Total Transaction Exceeds 6 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second day of this week’s trading, the stock market saw marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 0.12 points, closing at 2,601.33 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transaction. The sub-indices of 5 sub-groups showed a decrease, while the sub-indices of 8 sub-groups showed an increase.

As per today’s transaction, River Falls Power Limited led the market with a total transaction of 237 million, 414 thousand, and 552 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.05 points. Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Super Madi Hydropower Limited were the top losers, with the companies’ share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 311 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 13 million, 571 thousand, and 427 shares, generating a total transaction value of 6 billion, 504 million, 295 thousand, and 341 rupees.
