NEPSE Rises by 12 Points, Total Transaction Exceeds 6 Billion



Kathmandu – The stock market experienced an increase on the first day of the week’s trading. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 12.58 points, closing at 2,601.21 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transaction, with the sub-indices of 10 sub-groups increasing, while the sub-indices of 3 sub-groups decreased.

In Sunday’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction of 268 Million, 525 thousand 595 rupees.

Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 10 percent, hitting a positive circuit. Meanwhile, Super Madi Hydropower became the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting a negative circuit.

A total of 325 companies participated in today’s transaction, with 12 Million, 982 thousand 619 shares traded, generating a total amount of 6 Billion, 257 Million, 235 thousand 624 rupees.
