NEPSE Increases Marginally, Total Transactions Exceed 5 Billion



Kathmandu – On the third day of trading this week, the stock market experienced a marginal increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 1.83 points, closing at 2,595.96 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of 7 sub-groups showed an increase, whereas the sub-indices of 6 sub-groups showed a decrease.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction of 324 million, 944 thousand, and 718 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Dolti Power Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the share price of the company increasing by 10 percent and hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Nyadi Hydropower Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent and hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 299 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 10 million, 745 thousand, and 427 shares, generating a total transaction value of 5 billion, 824 million, 904 thousand, and 134 rupees.
