NEPSE Declines by 25 Points, Total Transaction Drops to 3 Billion



Kathmandu- On the first day of trading for the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index decreased by 25.41 points, closing at 2,609.67 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of all 13 sub-groups showed a decline.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction of 204 million, 153 thousand, and 872 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Wean Nepal Microfinance Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the share price of the company increasing by 10 percent and hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Nyadi Hydropower Limited emerged as the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent and hitting the negative circuit.

In today’s transaction, a total of 301 companies participated. The total number of traded shares was 8 million, 21 thousand, and 631 shares, generating a total transaction value of 3 billion, 997 million, 909 thousand, and 323 rupees.
