NEPSE Declines by 18 Points; Total Transaction Exceeds 7 Billion



Kathmandu– On the last day of trading for the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index decreased by 18.14 points, closing at 2,635.09 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of 12 sub-groups decreased, while the sub-index of 1 sub-group increased.

As per today’s transaction, Super Madi Hydropower Limited led the market with a total transaction of 448 million, 806 thousand, and 431 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited and Himalayan Power Partner Limited were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent and hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited emerged as the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 9.23 percent.

In today’s transaction, a total of 308 companies participated. The total number of traded shares was 15 million, 723 thousand, and 379 kitta shares, generating a total transaction value of 7 billion, 305 million, 342 thousand, and 581 rupees.
