NEPSE Sees Marginal Growth, Total Transaction Exceeds 6 Billion



Kathmandu – On the fourth day of the week, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index increased by 6.38 points, closing at 2,653.23 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of 6 sub-groups increased, while the sub-indices of 7 sub-groups decreased.

As per Wednesday’s transaction, Nyadi Hydropower Limited led the market with a total transaction of 225 million, 349 thousand, and 597 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Samriddhi Finance Company Limited and Sindhu Development Bank Limited were the top gainers, with the share price of these companies increasing by 10 percent and 9.99 percent, respectively, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Samudayik Microfinance Company Limited emerged as the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

In today’s transaction, a total of 305 companies participated. The total number of traded shares was 15 million, 502 thousand, and 751 kitta shares, generating a total transaction value of 6 billion, 407 million, 992 thousand, and 784 rupees.
