NEPSE Grows with Marginal Points, Total Transaction Reaches 5 Billion



Kathmandu – On the third day of the week, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index increased by 6.16 points, closing at 2,646.84 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of 8 sub-groups increased, 4 decreased, while the sub-indices of 1 sub-group remained unchanged.

As per Tuesday’s transaction, Sindhu Development Bank Limited led the market with a total transaction of 169 million, 296 thousand, and 798 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited and Nyadi Hydropower Limited were the top gainers, with the share price of these companies increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Aatmanirbhar Microfinance Company Limited and Dolti Power Company Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

In today’s transaction, a total of 305 companies participated. The total number of traded shares was 12 million, 81 thousand, and 606 kitta shares, generating a total transaction value of 5 billion, 384 million, 672 thousand, and 295 rupees.
