Four People Killed in Jeep Accident in Bajhang



Kathmandu – A jeep accident in Bajhang has resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including the driver.

According to District Police Chief Yubraj Bhandari, a Bolero jeep (registration number SE 1 JA 843) was en route from Talkot Rural Municipality to the district headquarters, Chainpur, when it met with an accident near Dhamena on Thursday night, claiming the lives of four people.

Bhandari stated that three members of the same family were killed on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries while being transported to the hospital for treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Shamsher Malla, 33, from Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-1 Royal, Bhamma Bahadur Dhami, 36, Akariti Dhami, 5, and Jogeni Devi Dhami, 72, all from Talkot Rural Municipality-4.

The accident occurred at 8:30 PM on Thursday when the jeep plunged 200 meters off the road.
