Kathmandu – On the second trading day of the week, the stock market witnessed a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index fell by 33.08 points, closing at 2,576.50 points.
Today’s trading results show that the sub-indices of all sub-groups, except one, decreased.
In today’s session, Prabhu Bank Limited led the market with a total transaction of 359 Million, 492 Thousand and 34 rupees.
As per Tuesday’s trading data, the 11% NIC Asia Debenture 082/83 emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 6.10 percent. Conversely, Support Microfinance Company Limited, Janaki Finance Company Limited, and Pokhara Finance Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 308 companies participated in today’s trading, with 13 Million, 174 Thousand and 379 kitta shares changing hands. The total transaction value reached 5 Billion, 674 Million, 686 Thousand and 91 rupees.
