Kathmandu- Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel returned to Nepal after participating in a high-level regional consultative meeting on finance, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in the Asia-Pacific region.
The conference focused on discussions related to sustainable development goals, resource management, capital mobilization, public debt, funding mechanisms for finance, and addressing financial gaps.
Nepal held the presidency for the program, which was organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the Asia-Pacific region.
A document incorporating suggestions from the consultative meeting will be prepared and submitted at the upcoming 4th International Conference on Financing for Development, scheduled to be held in Spain in 2025.
