On the last trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the share scale index dropped by 15.93 points, reaching 2,734.93 points.
In today’s NEPSE transaction, 13 subgroups participated. The sub-indices of two subgroups increased, while the sub-indices of 11 subgroups decreased.
On Thursday’s transaction, Nepal Finance Limited led the market, with a total transaction of 421 million 939 thousand 485 rupees.
Among the companies traded today, Khanikhola Hydropower Company Limited recorded the highest gain. The company’s share price increased by 9.98 points, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Support Microfinance Limited faced a loss, with its share price decreasing by 8.37%.
A total of 307 companies participated in today’s transaction, with 16.8 million shares exchanged. The total transaction amount reached 8 billion 369 million 687 thousand 402 rupees.
