On the fourth day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a drastic decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the share scale index, NEPSE Indicators, decreased by 24.97 points, reaching 2,750.87 points.
In today’s NEPSE transaction, a total of 13 subgroups participated. The sub-indices of 3 subgroups increased, while the sub-indices of 10 subgroups decreased.
As per Wednesday’s transaction, Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 303 Million 69 Thousand 225 rupees.
Khanikhola Hydropower Company Limited saw the highest gain today, with its share price increasing by 9.99 points, hitting the positive circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Support Microfinance Limited faced a loss, with its share price dropping by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 320 companies participated in today’s trading, with 20 Million 332 Thousand 66 shares being transacted. The total transaction amount reached 9 Billion 132 Million 468 Thousand 906 rupees.
