On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed growth. The NEPSE index increased by 19.97 points, closing at 2,758.04 points.
Out of the 13 sub-indices participating in today’s trading, nine recorded gains, while four saw declines.
Nepal Finance Limited led the market in terms of transaction volume, with a total trade worth NPR 594.76 million.
Among the top gainers of the day were Taragaon Regency Hotel, Bishal Bazar Company Limited, and Khanikhola Hydropower Company Limited, whose share prices surged by 10%, hitting the positive circuit. Conversely, Nepal Finance Limited faced the highest loss, with its share price declining by 8.72%.
A total of 314 companies participated in today’s trading, with a cumulative volume of 23.11 million kitta of shares traded. The total transaction value reached NPR 10.54 billion.
