Kathmandu. Dharahara resumes to all the visitors starting today with entry fee costing NRs 200 for each.
Council of Minister meeting on Thursday provided decision for the approval of Dharahara operation.
Each Nepali individual have to pay NRs 200 as entry fee, likewise NRs 500 for SAARC countries and NRs 1000 for other than SAARC countries. Management have provided the provision of 50% discount especially for senior citizens, students and specially abled people. People beloning to these category are entitled to pay NRs 100 as an entry fee.
Until the formation of the Special Structure Operation and Management Development Committee, 2081, Department of Urban Development Building Countruction and House has taken the approval for the collection of charges of Dharahara.
Today onwards, entry inside Dharahara permisis cost NRs 50, and parking for wheeler would cost NRs 20 and for two wheeler NRs 10. Dharahara which collapsed due to Earthquake of 2072, new Dharahara is constructed nearby. Dharahara which came into operation on the occasion of Constitutional Day Ashoj 3 was open to all with free entry for certain time, is now in operational with entry fee, as per Government.
Charging fee for advertisements in Dharahara on National importance is NRs is 5000 per hours, for commercial advertsiement within Dhararahara premisis is NRs 5000 per hour, likewise for photography NRs 1000 is the charge.
