NEPSE Drops by 31.31 Points; Total Transactions Reach NPR 8.26 Billion

On the last trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a decline. According to NEPSE, the stock index dropped by 31.31 points, settling at 2,680.44 points.

In today’s trading, 13 sub-indices participated, and all experienced a decline.

On Thursday, Nepal Finance Limited led the market with the highest transaction volume, totaling NPR 252.41 million.

Among the top gainers, Samudayik Microfinance Limited and Three Star Hydropower Limited saw their share prices rise by 10%, reaching the upper circuit. Conversely, Janaki Finance Company Limited suffered the biggest loss, with its share price dropping by 10%, hitting the lower circuit.

A total of 314 companies participated in today’s trading, with 18.47 million shares exchanged, resulting in a total transaction amount of NPR 8.26 billion.
