On the third trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index experienced a significant decline. According to NEPSE, the benchmark index fell by 51.11 points, closing at 2,702.65.
Today’s market saw participation from 13 sub-indices, all of which recorded losses.
Among the day’s notable performances, Ngadi Group Power Limited led in total transaction value, with trades amounting to Rs. 466.9 million. On the other hand, Aatmanirbhar Microfinance Limited achieved the highest price gain, hitting the 10% positive circuit. In contrast, Ngadi Group Power Limited suffered the highest loss, with its share price declining by 9.25%.
A total of 310 companies traded on Tuesday, with 22.59 million shares exchanged. The day’s total transaction value reached an impressive Rs. 10.47 billion.
