Kathmandu. A remarkable group of 94 Israeli trekkers, featuring 34 individuals with physical disabilities, successfully completed the Annapurna Circuit trek, highlighting the power of determination and inclusivity.
The adventure began on September 18 and concluded on September 26, with the team arriving at Humde Airport before embarking on their journey.The trekkers, which included 12 participants utilizing wheelchairs and 22 physically challenged explorers, spent two nights in Manang for acclimatization, immersing themselves in the rich local culture and cuisine. They triumphantly crossed the Thorung La pass, which stands at an impressive altitude of 5,416 meters.
Upon their return, Ambassador Hanan Goder and Mr. Laxman Gautam from the Nepal Tourism Board warmly welcomed the group at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Through this audacious trek, the delegation aims to promote a message of inclusiveness and teamwork, showcasing the incredible capabilities of differently-abled individuals and the transformative opportunities that arise when people unite to support each other.
