PM Discusses Mini Transaction Fees for Mobile Banking

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that discussions are underway with the concerned officials to eliminate fees for small-scale transactions in mobile banking.

While the government is actively promoting digital payments, there has been widespread criticism over additional charges imposed on each transaction. In response, the government is addressing the issue and considering changes to the current system.

Prime Minister Oli further explained that numerous concerns raised on social media have drawn the government’s attention to the extra fees associated with mobile banking transfers.

In a statement, Prime Minister Oli wrote, “I am in discussions with the relevant officials to waive charges on small transactions. Please continue reporting your issues to the government in this manner.”
