Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024, being recognized as Nepal’s Best Bank 2024 and Nepal’s Best Bank for ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) among Nepali Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs).
The awards were presented to Bank Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Chief Executive Officer Surendra Raj Regmi during a special ceremony in Singapore on Thursday.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are highly prestigious in the global banking sector. Established in 1992, these awards celebrate exceptional performance and innovation in banking services worldwide.
The awards are decided by the Euromoney Group, which consists of seasoned professionals from the financial industry, including former CEOs and senior executives from renowned organizations such as Reuters, Bloomsbury Publishing, HSBC UK, Lehman Brothers, and Fintel.
Global IME Bank’s latest recognition marks its second achievement with the Euromoney Awards. The bank was previously honored as the “Euromoney Award for Excellence 2022 – Best Bank of Nepal.” This ongoing recognition highlights the bank’s commitment to excellence and leadership in the financial sector.
