NEPSE Declines by 13 Points, Daily Transactions Drop to 7 Billion



Kathmandu.On the third trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a decline, with the NEPSE index falling by 13.09 points to settle at 2632.94 points.

In today’s trading session, 13 sub-indices were involved, with the share prices of 12 sub-indices declining, while only one sub-index recorded a gain.

Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL) Promoter shares led the market in terms of total transaction value, with a trading volume of NPR 298.15 million.

Among the companies, Manushi Microfinance Limited saw the highest gains, with its share price increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit.

A total of 328 companies participated in today’s trading, with 19.78 million shares exchanged. The total transaction value amounted to NPR 7.25 billion.
