Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a decline in its index. The NEPSE index dropped by 55.86 points, settling at 2,646.03 points.
Today’s market saw participation from 13 subgroups, all of which recorded a decrease in their sub-indices. CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited led the market with a total transaction volume of 370 million 57 thousand 802 rupees.
Among the companies, Hathway Investment Nepal Limited experienced the highest gain, with its share price increasing by 8.98 percent. Conversely, Unnati Cooperative Microfinance Limited faced the greatest loss.
In total, 327 companies participated in today’s trading, with 21 million 48 thousand 911 shares changing hands. The overall transaction amount for the day reached 9 billion 439 million 106 thousand 425 rupees.
