Final Day of NADA Auto Show 2024: Record Crowds Highlight Nepal’s Shift to Electric Vehicles



Kathmandu. Today, 16th Bhadra marks the final day of the NADA Auto Show 2024. The show, which began on 11th Bhadra, has attracted a total of 74,600 visitors over the past five days.

According to Anup Baral, the Coordinator of the Show, daily attendance figures were as follows: 18,500 on the first day, 15,000 on the second day, 15,500 on the third day, 17,200 on the fourth day, and 18,000 visitors on Saturday, the fifth day of the show.

The management expects even larger crowds today as people flock to explore the NADA Auto Show 2024, which prominently features electric vehicles (EVs). This year’s show is seen as a significant indicator of Nepal’s auto market shifting towards EVs.

The availability of low-interest auto loan schemes from banks has attracted more customers this year compared to previous years.

The exhibition showcases 24 brands of four-wheelers, 19 brands of two-wheelers, and 12 brands of light commercial vehicles. In addition, 33 companies representing lubricants, tires, batteries, garage accessories, and other components, along with 7 banks and microfinance institutions, have participated in the show.
