NEPSE declines wih 36 points, transaction declines to 12 Billion



Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a significant decline. The NEPSE index dropped by 36.83 points, closing at 2,749.57 points.

Among the 13 subgroups that participated in today’s trading, 12 recorded losses, while only one subgroup saw gains. Despite the overall market decline, Goodwill Finance Limited led the market in terms of transaction volume.

In a notable development, the share price of Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower surged by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit breaker.

A total of 322 companies traded today, with 28,346,246 shares changing hands. The total transaction amount reached NPR 12.24 billion.
