Kathmandu — The much-anticipated ‘Nada Auto Show 2024,’ organized by the Nada Automobiles Association of Nepal, officially started today, the 11th of Bhadra, at Bhrikuti Mandap. The event was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel.
This year’s exhibition is a six-day event, running until the 16th of Bhadra, and features a range of new and updated models from various brands. Visitors can explore the latest offerings from nine new brands, alongside updated versions of existing models.
The show boasts a diverse lineup, with 24 four-wheeler brands, 19 two-wheeler brands, and 12 light commercial vehicle brands on display. Additionally, the exhibition showcases various automotive components, including tires, batteries, lubricants, and garage accessories. This year, a special focus is also placed on new Electric Vehicle (EV) brands.
Among the featured vehicles are models from well-known brands such as Kia, Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra, BYD, BMW, and Hyundai. The exhibition also introduces vehicles from emerging brands like Avatar-11, Leapmotor, Zeekr X, Ceres, Hozon, Citroen, Skywell, GAC Aion, Amonda, Radar RD6, Jaecoo J6, Xpeng, and Dongfeng Nammi-01.
In addition to automotive displays, several banks and microfinance institutions are participating in the event, offering vehicle financing options. Notable participants include Nabil Bank, Global IME Bank, Himalayan Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Mahalaxmi Bank, Sanima Bank, and Machhapuchhre Bank, all of which are active in vehicle financing.
