Micro Insurance company gained profit of more than 30 million within one year



Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2080/81, Micro Insurance companies in Nepal collectively reported a profit of NPR 31.41 million, according to the annual statistics released by the Nepal Insurance Authority. The sector comprises seven Micro Insurance companies, all of which contributed to this significant financial achievement.

Within the Micro Life Insurance category, three companies accounted for a combined profit of NPR 13 million. Liberty Micro Life Insurance led the group with a profit of NPR 7.303 million, followed by Crest Micro Life Insurance with NPR 4.002 million, and Guardian Micro Life Insurance with NPR 1.4 million.

Similarly, in the Micro Non-life Insurance segment, four companies generated a total profit of NPR 18.35 million. Trust Micro Life Insurance emerged as the highest earner with NPR 10.951 million, followed by Protective Life Insurance with NPR 2.341 million, Nepal Micro Life Insurance with NPR 2.954 million, and Star Micro Life Insurance with NPR 2.188 million.

This strong performance underscores the growing significance of Micro Insurance in Nepal’s financial landscape.
