Kathmandu__ The Kedia Group has contributed Rs 10 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and rescue efforts for people affected by floods and other natural disasters.
The Kedia family, on behalf of the Kedia Group, handed over a cheque for the contribution to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday.
The group said the contribution was aimed at supporting the government’s relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts for disaster-affected communities.
The contribution comes amid growing support from the private sector, business groups and individuals toward the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief and recovery of people affected by recent natural disasters.
