Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) and Child Development Program Nepal (CDPN) have handed over relief materials to families affected and displaced by the flooding of the Bhotekoshi River.
With support from KFHI and coordination by CDPN, essential daily-use and personal hygiene items were provided to the flood-affected families. The relief packages included **blankets, mattresses, towels, mosquito nets, lights, four T-shirts, one track pant, two bathing soaps, two laundry soaps, one toothpaste, two toothbrushes and one bag for storing belongings.
KFHI Nepal Head Park, CDPN representative Balkrishna Bhattarai, and Ranjit Poddar of Sathi Computer, among others, participated in the relief handover programme.
KFHI provided the relief materials with the objective of supporting families affected by the flood and other disasters during the emergency.
The relief materials were handed over in the presence of local authorities at the premises of Shree Sundari Kyaurini Secondary School in Bidur–10, Gorkhutaar, Nuwakot.
