Ncell Foundation announces scholarships for 100 SEE graduates

Kathmandu । Ncell Foundation has announced the continuation of its nationwide ‘Ncell SEE Scholarships’ programme for Secondary Education Examination (SEE) graduates of 2026 in collaboration with Project Shikshya.

Under the programme, Ncell Foundation will provide scholarships to 100 SEE graduates for their +2 education this year. According to the company, students will be selected through written examinations conducted across all seven provinces followed by structured interviews.

The initiative aims to ensure equal access to higher education opportunities for students from across the country, particularly those requiring financial support to continue their studies.

Selected students will also receive free communication support from Ncell, including unlimited data and voice services for 12 months, helping them stay connected to learning resources and academic opportunities.

“At Ncell Foundation, we believe education is a fundamental pillar for shaping Nepal’s future. Through this collaboration with Project Shikshya, we aim to empower and support young SEE graduates to pursue their dreams by ensuring access to quality education for their higher studies,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director at Ncell. “This programme reflects our belief that geography and economic circumstances should never determine a young person’s future. Through provincial-level examinations and a transparent selection process, we are reaching students who have the potential but lack opportunities.”

Project Shikshya, a scholarship programme run by Hundred Group, will also provide scholarships to an additional 50 students. The programme, launched in 2017, has been supporting SEE graduates across Nepal through educational opportunities and financial assistance.

Last year, Ncell Foundation provided scholarships to 50 students under the same initiative. According to the company, those students are currently studying in Grade 12 at different academic institutions across the country.
