Asian Paints Nepal Announces Winners of 11th Architecture & Interior Design Student Competition



Kathmandu: Asian Paints Nepal has announced the winners of Kaleidoscope 23-24, the 11th All Nepal Architecture & Interior Design Student Competition.

This annual event brings together students, professional architects, and clients for a live project competition, with winners selected by an independent jury from Nepal’s architectural community.

This year’s competition saw 39 students from 11 architectural colleges designing the proposed Centre for National Academy of Music & Drama. Ms. Aayusha Koirala from IOE, Pulchowk Campus, claimed first place and a cash prize of Rs 70,000.

Mr. Sushan Shrestha from Acme Engineering College and Mr. Ashish Oli from Himalayan College of Engineering took second and third places, receiving Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. Mr. Bipin Maharjan from Kathmandu University and Ms. Kewal Lama from Himalayan College of Engineering were awarded consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 each.

The winners were honored at a ceremony on August 18th at Marriott Hotel, where they were felicitated by Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey and Ms. Nisha Sharma, Chancellor of NAMDA.

The winning design will be handed over to the client for further implementation.
