NEPSE declines with marginal points, the total transaction drops to 9 Billion



Kathmandu– On the fourth day of trading, the stock market experienced a decline in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index has dropped by 1.07 points, settling at 2,653.68 points.

Out of 13 sub-indices, 8 sub-indices have fallen while 5 sub-indices experienced a growth.

As per the transaction of Wednesday, Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited led the market with the total transaction of NRs 717 million 822 thousand 966.

In today’s trading, Pure Energy Limited and Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited emerged as the top gainers with the share price of these companies increasing by 10 percent and 9.90 percent, hitting a positive circuit.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited emerged as the top loser with the share price of the company decreasing by 10 percent, hitting negative circuit.

A total of 314 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares was 23 million 446 thousand 949 shares, generating the transaction value of NRs 9 billion 85 million 886 thousand 877.
