Kathmandu- On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market witnessed a decline in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index dropped by 13.69 points, settling at 2,664.47 points.
Out of the 13 sub-indices, 12 recorded a decline, while only 1 showed an increase.
As per Wednesday’s trading data, Radhi Bidyut Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of NRs 615 million 717 thousand 144.
In today’s trading, Pure Energy Limited, Synergy Power Development Limited, and Butwal Power Company Limited emerged as the top gainers. The share prices of these companies increased by 9.99 percent and 9.93 percent, respectively, hitting the upper circuit.
Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited was the top loser. Its share price declined by 4.83 percent.
A total of 307 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares reached 22 million 75 thousand 769, generating a transaction value of NRs 9 billion 907 million 5 thousand 575.
