Kathmandu- On the third trading day of the week, the stock market saw a rise in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 25.07 points, closing at 2,678.17 points.
All sub-indices recorded gains in today’s trading.
As per Tuesday’s transaction data, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited Promoter led the market with a total transaction of NRs 584 million 953 thousand 871.
Pure Energy Limited and Shree Investment Finance Company Limited were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 9.99 percent, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Rawa Energy Development Limited was the top loser, with its share price falling by 6.14 percent.
A total of 311 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares reached 23 million 697 thousand 145, generating a total transaction value of NRs 10 billion 160 million 981 thousand 76.
