Kathmandu – The National Assembly has passed the Ordinance on Economic Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment), 2081.
In Thursday’s session, the ordinance was passed by a majority vote, while a proposal to disapprove it was rejected. Following this, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel presented the proposal for approval.
With the passage of the ordinance, the government is now set to introduce a replacement bill in its place.
