Yatri and Sipradi Partner to Launch ‘Made in Nepal’ Electric Two-Wheelers



Kathmandu. Yatri Design Studio and Sipradi Companies have announced a joint venture to develop and promote cutting-edge electric two-wheelers in Nepal.

This collaboration combines Yatri’s innovative design approach with Sipradi’s decades of expertise in the automotive industry.

Established in 1982, Sipradi will support Yatri in advancing sustainable transportation solutions. “Forward-thinking and progressive design are the two key pillars of this collaboration. This partnership allows us to build affordable yet cutting-edge electric vehicles and establish a strong network in the region,” said Ashim Pandey, Founder and CEO of Yatri Design Studio.

Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi Companies, emphasized the partnership’s potential, saying, “The groundwork and detailed study for this joint venture highlight our commitment to a long-standing partnership with Yatri to address broader mobility challenges.”

This joint venture aims to shake up the electric two-wheeler market with innovative and affordable Yatri products, marking a significant milestone in local automotive engineering.
