Shasheela Motors Hands Over 30 Keyton EVs to Rashtriya Swatantra Multipurpose Business



Kathmandu . Shasheela Motors PVt .Ltd. has handed over 30 Keyton-branded electric vans, each with a seating capacity of 14, to Rashtriya Swatantra Multipurpose Business Pvt. Ltd.

These electric vehicles (EVs) will operate on the Thori–Hetauda–Kathmandu route. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Santosh Khatriwada, Managing Director of Shasheela Motors, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing seamless after-sales service. He stated, “Our priority remains to deliver the highest quality vehicles and excellent customer service in the days ahead.” He further expressed confidence that this initiative would contribute to making Nepal’s transportation sector more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Rajan Poudel, Mayor of Simara Sub-Metropolitan City, highlighted the importance of EVs in the current era and extended his best wishes to the business operators. He remarked, “Electric vehicles play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the country’s energy system and promoting environmentally friendly transportation.”

At the event, business representatives noted the growing interest in electric transportation across Nepal. They emphasized that EVs offer cost-effective operation compared to traditional fuel-based vehicles, providing long-term financial benefits for businesses.

This handover is expected to encourage the adoption of EVs in Nepal and contribute to the optimal utilization of the country’s energy resources.
